field camp week. ; Sunday, July 25, 2010 17:43
i just realised this is my 700th post for this blog. 300 more before i'll change the layout and link. but that'll be a long time later because being in ns doesn't really give me the luxury of updating my blog often. if you noticed, it's one update every ten days.
okayy. i'm booking in at 1930 which means i'm left with exactly an hour at home before heading to pasar ris and back to tekong.
weekend confinement because of the field camp meaning i would not book out on this weekend. i predict that it'd be at most 10 days confinement only, which would be easy to countdown and not look too fearsome.
the sucky part is that, i'm not allowed to bring my oreos and handphone to the field camp. means i can't text or call anyone before i sleep at night. :(
on the brighter side. after the field camp, i might get a 5-day bookout till national day. and after the field camp, i'd only be left with range because i'm confident that i'll clear my ippt this week. don't know if i can get silver though because of sbj and 2.4km run. i'll attempt to get A for pullups. yay!
lastly, don't miss me! i'm already missing blazers and tonnes of other people!! :(

singapore air smells fresher than tekong for many reasons that if i were to name, it'd fill the whole post.
i'm officially done with the 17 days of confinement in tekong. booked out on wednesday evening and went down to training on thursday. spent my friday going to sgh for an appointment and visited the army market to get my missing torch light and silencer. gym-ed yesterday and still contemplating if i should gym today. i still prefer going to the gym compared to ns training. feels different.
in another se7en hours, friday would be over and it'd be time to book in back to tekong soon. somehow the time spent in singapore passes faster than in tekong.
went back to tp yesterday and somehow i felt. that i don't belong there anymore. i don't find my sense of belonging in blazers. the feeling just isn't there. and i wonder.

for the benefit of those who stalk my blog, i am out of camp for today and tomorrow!, though it isn't my official bookout so i wouldn't plurk or tweet or fb anything yet.
today would be my 5th day in pulau tekong. my bunk mates are fun, which is the most important thing to make the bmt fun.

yeah. I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY OFFICIAL BOOKOUT! I MISS BLAZERS SO SUPER MUCH! :(
