i just love football manager 2008. it kills the thinking that these manager series is easy to play. indeed it does. for before i started playing this game, i've never been sacked in all leagues.
my record now says that i've never completed a single season. my sacking list includes ksr, liverpool and juventus. currently playing now and next on the list should be barcelona. (:

went to watch that show with shiyuan and qiming today at junction 8. $6 a ticket. don't understand why people would pay $10 just to watch on a weekend at a "better" cinema?
i think the nc16 rating doesn't fit the show. they should add, "not for the weak-hearted". definately more scary than 2002.
horror show. that ghosts pass from person to person by touching them. to prevent them from spreading, you'll have to kill them.
there's this funny part near the ending. ekin cheng was talking to shawn yue 'cause they both were facing the door and to shoot anyone who comes in.
ekin: what do you do when a social worker comes in?
shawn: shoot him. the social worker is willing to sacrifice.
ekin: what do you do when a priest comes in?
shawn: shoot him. he'll go to heaven.
don't blame me if i mixed up the names, because i think i did too. but that part's real funny. the parts that some people kill themselves look sadistic and funny too!
and it also shows that people you irritate will come back to haunt a long way for you. you'll understand if you watch the show. (:
played soccer after that. again. yeaps, thats the word. can't remember how many times we've been playing this week already. if not, we'll be walking for over an hour from payar lebar to mcpherson just to eat prawn mee. maybe we can challenge for something in a marathon.
i've recorded three interviews for tomorrow. newyork2, tcc and the cafe cartel. only uncertainties are whether shiyuan will be coming, and if there's enough time for all before qiming leaves.
i shall dedicate tomorrow for rest! (:

my interviews seem to lead me on wild goose chases. all point to weird buildings never have i came across before.
yesterday was no different. supposed to go to leong huat building. checked streetdirectory.com and showed it to be beside an mrt station in upper payar lebar road. turned out to be "tai seng station". wtf.
went kbox with qiming after that. realised it was too late for other interviews already. glad to know the songs were updated, and more for english. sang all the crap songs. but it was a real long time since i last went there. and so i'm poorer again. (:
no interviews today. i'm just lazy. m1 training at jurong ibp tomorrow. anyone wanna come along? zz.

i hate it. my parents are shouting down both my ears for me to get a job. and it's not like i'm not looking. call me choose-y. but i refuse to go back to my $4/hr jobs.
i realised something. after chalets, i don't have any real thing to look forward for. after all the fun, it's back to boring days at home. trying in vain to get people out. funny it seems, that the people i know in poly are having holidays now but no one seems to be free.
who wants to watch rule #1 with me?? i treat. (:
i have officially decided to start supporting liverpool again. but it's still arsenal first. HAHA.
i simply love the oc.
it's the type of life they have the envys me most.

i seriously don't know whether this post would make sense because i'm feeling tipsy and dead tired.
having 2 chalets at the same time isn't that bad after all. i feel satisfied that i've maximised everything this past 2 days.
f704 at s04 and iqt at b10. quite opposite ends.
my latest record is having 45 minutes of sleep in the last 36 hours plus. adding to that is an increase in alcohol level. took at least 5 cups on absolut citron without mixing, another few with fruit punch and nizam's hennessey. both levels are ar 40%.
at least i wasn't as bad as vincent. i could still walk straight. (:
same for today. left during the end of the second straight bbq day. honestly speaking, other than the severe lack of sleep, this has got to be one of the best chalets. with the ideal people i'm happy to be with.
updates when i wake up later..my head's spinning....

i didn't go for my tp chalet today because the bbq is tomorrow. and i'm still curious to know what they'll be doing during the day. i wouldn't really want to spend my next three days playing electronic games in the chalet.
very coincidentally, my tp and ite ones fall on the same days, and both are at costal sands in pasar ris. if it ends up side-by-side, it's even more hard to believe! (:
i played soccer today! at three different courts and finally stopping at a void deck. shizhen and xiaomarc joined us there. when i was really exhausted. was very tired then, considering i've to wake up early tomorrow to report at liangsheng's house for carrying duties.
reached home at 2030, had dinner, bathed and watch the channel 55 9pm show. and i'm going to miss the next two episodes. so sad. the most interesting part is tomorrow! sighh.
i realised that i needed to pack. and it was already ten plus. i'm supposed to sleep early today. 1030 at sengkang mrt tomorrow. don't know if i can wake up. (:
anyways, i'll be back either late wednesday night or thursday afternoon! somehow i feel, this chalet won't be an enjoyable one.

i finished watching heroes season 1 today. and okayy, i must admit it's a super nice show. the ending's as touching as oc1's last episode. so i'll play down talks that season2 sucks but instead, look forward to it! (:

tomorrow marks the start of my merged chalet. mon-wed is for f704, tues-thurs is for iqh and friday is good friday. the holidays are making me forget my dates.
the current plan is this. i'll go for the bbq and take the last bus home with terence. and i'll go with my ite the second day, the do catching up. somehow i think it would be very messy. it's not exactly ideal.

i got my main exam results via sms while at mdis building at eunos. and it was raining heavily as usual. imagine two soaked people from head to toe enquiring for an interview. but it was ventura era anyway. so no thanks. (:

engineering mathematics 2 - d+
problem-solving and process-skills - pass
object-oriented programming - d+
telecommunications and systems - c+
introduction to language and culture (french) - c+
cummulative gpa - 2.2
in pale comparision to my first semester, the grades are bcccdd and bccddd now. exchanging a c for a d. and still, i'm missing out on an a. but overall, i'm glad i passed all. (:

i know this is going to be a hard week for me. people, please try to understand.
my grandfather's hospital lab report will be out within 2 days. and i'm getting back my results on wed/thurs. i have to be optimistic, 'cause i know i don't have any mood now to do anything.
alevel results were out last friday. no updates yet.
i'm beginning to be treated as invisible in the family again.
and the weather doesn't seem to be getting any better.
the tide's just turning slowly, against me.

okayy. i've been going for unsuccessful interviews the whole week and i'm starting to lose faith in the classified papers. or maybe, i'm just too choosy.
went to this place with qiming in raffles place called chevron house for an interview. and it's weird enough for their lobby to be at the 3rd floor, making it almost impossible for someone who hasn't been to raffles place in more than a year, to find it.
we were the first to arrive, and the last to get interviewed. sighh.
soccer-ed yesterday and today. and though it isn't competitive, i feel like it's been through a whole season. losing my stamina soon.
today was fucked up. i rushed all the way home to cook dinner, only to forget the rice and get scolded by my mother. what do you expect of me? sighh.

i noticed this on my way to the gym today. tibs drivers have a higher tendency to close an eye.
as you noticed, sbs drivers are going down hard on students who they suspect are misusing their ezlink cards. so i was on this bus today. some guy boarded the bus, spoke in some unknown language and the driver shrugged him off. a free trip.
thats another advantage they have over sbs drivers. the other one is the speed.
on a pessimistic note, i've got 8 days of my holidays left. i wouldn't really consider the remainding weeks holiday once i received my results. BUT THEN, i rather keep my optimistic stand. (:
by the way, anyone has a job to recommend?
