i don't know if i'm really feeling unwell. it's been hot and cold, and the condition of my nose isn't imrpoving anything.
i'm really looking forward to the track trial on monday. but my body is hindering all that hope.
yay! chelsea won manu. 2-1. okayy, get this straight. i'm not very much of a chelsea fan. i just don't want manu to win the title.
at least, manu managed to end a record. chelsea's unbeaten home record continues, but rooney's goal meant that he is the first player to score at the bridge since giggs did 6 years ago.

first week of school ; 00:26
first week of school was OKAYY. but i still can't get used to 3 hour lab sessions on monday and friday.
we had a suprise today. someone decided to take my class for ewebapp. and it turned out to be our infocomm course manager. stressed out.
completed my cca trials signup today. concluded with track&field, floorball, triathlon, cheerleading and archery. so i have trials on mon-wed straight after school next week.
and i have 3 assignments to complete by this weekend. year 2 sure is different.
took 969 home today. 30mins without traffic congestion. and the journey back in the bus is nice to sleep if you have a seat.
met shiyuan and his amksec peeps for soccer after that. apparently something happened. it always does. and i think i need to walk with more caution now. who knows when will one of them just sneak up and hit me.
we decided to play at sim ming. walked there with shiyuan and shizhen. gerald came later. heavily off-form and damn tired.
i wonder how i'm going to perform for my track trials on monday. i think that's the cca i have the most confidence in.
will my dream for team temasek come true?? (:

it has only been 3 days of the new school year and i'm already starting to believe it's going to be crap. almost every module has a main exam and project. if not, it's java programming.
the newspapers yesterday and today has been focusing on the escaped detainee mas selamet. although i don't really follow the case, i saw something nice in today's home section.
the part where the members question the pm. especially his replies. i like.
cca recuirtment drive started today. so far, i signed up for track&field, badminton and floorball. think tomorrow or friday i'll go for hockey, cross country and triathlon. really hoping to get into track or tri.
clubs should include tpsu, ihub and iguides main comm. (:

school started today. i must admit that the timetable is no different from 1.2. and i hate afternoon classes.
monday: 1-6
tuesda: 9-5
wednes: 9-6
thursd: 2-6
friday: 9-12
i think they purposely place lectures before labs and tutorials so people would be forced to go for them.
3 hours of lab really sucks.
that's my first day.

i found out that bus rides that cost the adult fair are very expensive, when you're significantly poorer. okayy, it's random.
took 851 to bugis to meet gerald today. so a $2.09 cost is acquired when you accompany someone to alter his clothes. i seem so materialistic. (:
we went to the gym after that. ran the threadmail and got a horrible rating. 2.48km in 16 minutes. sighh. i wouldn't even pass napha with that. i need to run more!
lan after that. i realised that cyber cafes do earn a lot of money. all they need are many faster computers and money keeps rolling in everyday. entrepreneurship. HAHA.
school starts on monday. i'm trying to adjust myself back. afternoon lessons mean i can sleep more, though my day would usually be spoilt after that. oh wells.

i can't believe i finished watching 4 seasons of the oc in 7 weeks! (:
i really hope they bring back the oc. there's no other show out there that's better than this. tried watching one tree hill once but failed.
no marissa cooper in season 4 didn't really hurt. i think i got used to taylor townsend anyway. she seems a rather nice girl. i admire how she talks VERY fast without making mistakes.
season 4 concluded how the lifes of everyone especially the cohen family change, when ryan atwood came in. it's very touching. makes me cry sometimes. :(
i guess the title says it all. the end of the holidays is in 2 days. i should bring myself back to reality.
but still, I WILL MISS THE OC!

my last day at blue. all by myself. i realised that as long as you have something to do, it knocks away all your thoughts. truly enough, work came in non-stop.
she walked passed me,
i ran after her.
quickly through harbourfront centre,
into the mrt station.
gambled that she'll be there,
and alighted at dhoby ghaut.
it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
when i was about to give up,
she walked past me unknowingly.
i chased.
her train came.
my train came.
i was too late.
if three months later i see her again,
and feel the same way for her,
then that's fate.

today is shiyuan's last day of work. tomorrow will be mine. and i know it's going to feel different going to work myself.
ever heard of mrt congestion? the train i took today took 17 minutes to get from amk to bishan. boarded the train at 0815, reached bishan at 0832 and dhoby ghaut at 0853. so i was late for work because we went to eat.
work was much better. i completed centraltime before lunch, and took on some vmware project. still continuing tomorrow.
there's biz orientation tomorrow. and actually it doesn't really concern me. (:
terence said timetable will be out tomorrow also. i guess i'll only have time to check it on friday. things to look out for. a nice timetable and a PROPER cds. i mean it with the caps.

shiyuan was sitting beside me all day to help me with my data entry. and we still couldn't finish. tomorrow is his last day. thursday will be lonely. :(
could say i'm feeling much better already. i think there aren't any after effects of my fainting. it's just sudden and uncontrollable.
i think i'll spend half the day sleeping on friday. my eyes are dying from the mass hours of staying at the pc during work. shiyuan made this comment. he can spend 8 hours playing games at home but can't spend 8 hours doing data entry. lol.
much agreed, though i don't think i'll have much interest in spending 8 hours on games. i found out something else about working in an office. the girls are prettier and more matured. (:

second day working at blue today.
we moved my computer to another spot because a new girl was taking my place. and it is under the air-con. cold.
i only used the pc for the last 2 hours cause they were trying to fix the connection problems. done all the other jobs that shiyuan classified as "office boy" jobs. lol.
met my uncle after work to visit my grandfather. something which did not turn up well for me.
apparently i had breathing problems whilst staying beside my grandfather. so i left the room and went outside. then my head felt dizzy. i held the railings. i closed my eyes. and it all went black. i fainted.
woke up with my uncle patting both my cheeks. doctors and nurses crowded round me. passer-bys looking on. the rushed me to a bed and clipped whatever they found on me. blood pressure, sugar levels, temperature, all looked fine.
there was no diagnosis. the doctor said this happens suddenly. he suggested it could be epileptic fits, which i didn't have any history of.
anyway, i felt so weak. i braced myself with all i could.
and sadly, i still have to work tomorrow. thanks to all the nurses and doctors. i really love all of you. (:

i went to the hospital again today. okayy, my grandfather is out of the icu. they transferred him to the high dependency ward. it's supposed to be a step below icu and one above the normal ward.
now that i'm working, the weekends feel short again. two days. it feels so school-like to me. that's why i don't enjoy working full-time. it's 0930-1800 until friday. hopefully i can stop on thurs.
arsenal is playing manu tonight. and i'm starting to hate liverpool. they're all starting to dive. watch the first half of the match against blackburn minutes ago. sighh.

okayy. the doctor called my mum at 0145. apparently all of us were asleep at that time. so she called my uncle in the morning and the doctor say the operation was successful and my grandfather is in stable condition now.
maybe we're going to visit him later. a big thank you to all the doctors in ttsh. i hope he's really fine.

i just came back from the hospital. there was a decision to be made that could change my future forever. and luckily, it took a slightly more positive turn.
the doctors called late. they said my grandfather's gall bladder was infected, and the tumour he already had was in its last stage before turning cancerous. a decision had to be made immediately. so i accompanied my parents there, together with some relatives.
my grandfather was very reluctant. we could tell. i was slowing losing faith in myself, feeling more and more helpless as there was nothing i could do.
thanks meryl, for listening to me pour everything out. (:
then i decided to take a stand myself. everything in life is a gamble. for him, he's already eighty and still suffering. whatever the outcome, i believe it's the best for him.
the operation should take place in a few hours. i must stay strong. thanks for all the prayers.

how ironic is it that i've decided to work when i only have 9 days of holiday left.
actually it was an opportunity given to me, so all i had to do was to accept. went with shiyuan. we're working together! well, for the first time.
office is located in harbourfront. some tower in lobby d. i love the view! (:
you can see the merlion, sentosa, cable cars and a beautiful scenery. maybe i'll get to see a sunset if i'm lucky. (:
okayy. first day isn't all bad. the mornings are slow, but the afternoons go by faster. and now, i'm starting to hate data entry. left the office at 1830. back in amkhub at 1905.
and i missed my soccer. oh wells.

i finished watching season 3 of the oc. so i'll start season 4. i think i'll have deep memories of this when i eventually finish watching the whole series.
it's ironic if you see it this way. i finish the dream show and school starts in reality for me. seems indirectly telling me, "wake up and get along with life!"

i actually haven't started watching it yet. still on the graduates now. 12mins.
arsenal lost this morning. liverpool. 4-2. sighh. the referee. if it was the same for the leg at emirates, he'll sure be 200% inconsistant. but this things happen in football. (:

i woke up at 0930 today! i think it's the first time this holiday that i woke up before ten. *clapclap*
but it was for a reason. and i set my alarm. my plan was to watch untraceable. 1220 at junction 8. communication brokedown with shiyuan, so he stayed home to watch one missed call. i ended up with qiming.
i would say, this movie is quite similar to saw. it potrays sadistic killings. this person creates a website that whoever visits it, would harm the innocent. check out this link. it DOES exist, somehow. (:

i realised that last friday could be the last time i was playing soccer before school starts. everyone just seems to busy now. and me?, i'm totally the opposite.
i'm like, watching 4 hours of the oc everyday. rushing through season 3 now. and the storyline keeps getting wilder.
arsenal drew again! liverpool. second consecutive 1-1 in 4 days. sighh.

the last episode of the oc season 2 is damn touching! it gives the same sad ending like season 1. :'(
i decided that i won't watch heroes season 2 for two reasons. firstly, it's not complete due to the writers strike in the usa. and secondly, they're considering re-writing it anyway.
this means, i'm going to continue with the oc season 3! the "core four" really rocks to the end! simply love them. (:
