i was blog-hopping and i came across many inspirational posts like the one from chaang at wildcards titled, "why is cheerleading 'not growing' in singapore".
i shall not comment on that. instead of just complaining and complaining, go read the post yourself.

i was looking through the past 1 year worth of fb entries of this particular friend. he used to be one of my bestest friends in secondary school. after graduation, we don't see each other as often even though we just live across the street of each other.
his life now revolves around drinking and clubbing. without either of those, he feels bored, tired, restless and i don't know what else.
one night i saw that he was at home so i asked him out for supper and he replied that he just felt like drinking. so i wondered to myself. is life all about drinking and nothing else.
anyway, i decided that i don't impose that much of an influence on him as before. whatever i tell him might be going one-ear-in-and-one-ear-out. but at least i've said my point.
and i guess only one person would know who i'm talking about. because we both share the same views.
