MY PERSONAL OPINION on a thrash-out session is to give someone a chance to take advantage and launch a personal attack on someone else.
and after today's near-2hour session, i decided to start a topic on another of superman's quotes.
passion beats talent.
to start off with, i don't see anyone having the passion.
some people are talented. they excel in certain aspects that others spend much more time learning. however, that does not give you a reason to be overly proud of it.
if someone has the passion for the sport, that person is willing to put in more effort and train harder.
if someone is talented, that person would think that i already can do this, thus that person would spend lesser time training.
cheerleading is a growing industry. you have to keep improving. if you remain stagnant, you'll fall behind and cease to exist.
motivation vs discipline
motivation is doing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, when we want to do it.
discipline is doing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, when we don't want to do it.
what needs to be done has to be done; no matter what.
when you lose your motivation, you can still have your discipline.
