alpha verve-blazers exchange programme at nus ; Sunday, September 06, 2009 22:59
i resent something worse than roasted meat. and together, my wallet and handphone roasted and reeked of oil with me. to conclude, i had to take the bus home. how bad could things become.
- nus alpha verve and tp blazers exchange programme.
i set my alarm to 0530 but i snoozed till 0605 and i accidentally turned off my alarm. lucky i didn't oversleep.
the rain didn't like me this morning.
met kelwin in 74 and bus-ed together to buona vista mrt station. we reached at 0740 and as expected, we were the first to arrive. amazingly, most of the team was early.
the morning downpour wasted a lot of our time, hence things had to be shortened.
1. the ice-breaking resembled fo, but the forfeit made me more sporting 2. conditioning was a killer, especially when i went to the gym the day before 3. kicks was OKAYY. i partnered someone TALLER than me 4. learnt new arm motions from av today! (: 5. gymnastics was relatively fine. i think my cartwheel somewhat improved 6. basic stunting with av juniors felt like a recap session 7. advanced stunting with av seniors was fun but i was slacking most of the time
basically, the alphas were very nice people. well, that's what cheerleading is all about.
a big THANK YOU to our coach akane and alpha verve for making this exchange possible!
- bbq at coach's condo after that.
bryan and i represented blazers by doing the cooking..for three hours?
everything on me was practically cooked. i'm thinking of throwing my phone into the washing machine.
anyway, we had fun. for the whole day. the sad thing is, i've school tomorrow. on the better side, it's only report writing. integration and testing shall come later.
