i recalled my brother talking about his company last night.
the higher and lower management. higher management sells products, lower management does all the work to meet the deadline. if they can't make it, you'll see the wrath of the ceo god. in layman's term, there is negligible overall concern for the lower people.
i think this is very common. it's event-driven. simply put, i'm your superior. get the work done for me or i'm fucking done with you.
actually i don't really believe in people having split personalities unless you're a mental case. but somehow, i guess i've seen enough.
i'm not implying this anywhere. but it's a fact. and it just came to my mind.
