almost everything revolves around this two words, "if only".
if you seriously notice, the first words of regret will start with those two fated words. and im so going to use them now.
IF ONLY i owned a credit card.
IF ONLY i had a proper team.
IF ONLY my passion for the wcg dream was strong enough.
IF ONLY, IF ONLY, IF ONLY.
blame no one. im the team leader, and i've to accept full responsibility. sorry everyone, i've let you down. we've to give up our wcg dream. so much for the talk about it. who cares about strategy. now, all we can do is watch. and think.
from ite and ms low, i've learnt that,
ASSUME = making the ASS out of U and ME.
and guess, it brought me down. sent everything crumbling before it even started. we dreamed of progressing past the first round. we wished we could win the singapore finals. alas, DREAM.
i've to admit, this was very last minute. had my friends not backed out, i would be happily playing cs and preparing now. to form a team of 5 almost different unknowns with 13 slots remaining, to rush against time and accomodate everyone was already a defying task. we only thought of registering for ourselves and the team. never did we expect payment have to be made to confirm registration.
they only accepted visa. to make things worse, debit services were down. i mean, how many students own a credit card? unless, we aren't their target source for the world cyber games. that, is a debatable point. but i ain't here to argue.
still, i'd like to apologise to ALL my other 4 team members, who i've let down. whoever was at fault, it shall now be a matter of the past. life goes on..
