well, it was YESTERDAY. but never mind the couple of missed minutes.
last ditch planning, i would call it. got the usual few; chanmeng, gerald and grace. not forgeting qiming(of course!) and i. weilin couldnt make it. but it was ok with us.
met everyone 1800 at amk mrt. ditched our plan of going vivo and ended up at ps because we didnt feel like transferring trains at dhoby ghaut station. got 5 sp3 tickets at the cathay. good thing about watching on a wednesday, it's 7$ each. 2030's digital was a little rush for us, and took the 2125 normal instead. gerald watched already, but in cases like that, you dont really have a choice.
qiming suggested carl's junior for dinner. first time im eating that. but heard that the burger was BIG. settled for a "santa fe burger combo", costing 11.60$. i think it's only slightly larger than a big mac. wanted a second serving but grace threw her fries at us.
it was, just 2015 when we finished our dinner. grace and i went to tcc to get a cake, and met them at paradiz centre's snookerum. still lost in the end, though i thought i was more accurate than usual. and we pool-ed till 2125. half-ran all the way back to they cathay.
movie just started when we entered. just for some knowledge. i didnt watch xmen 1 and 2 but i watched 3. it was exactly the same for spiderman. thought the show was nice though. action and some suspense. not much emotions(well, it's not an emo show).
the show was quite long. ended around 2350 + credits. we sang him a birthday song out the theatres; he had to ask a stranger to wish him happy birthday, and SUPPOSED to finish the cake within a mouth. this eventually took eight.
cab-ed back after that. i shared one with grace, qm-cm-gerald took another. the day seemed to me like a weekend. if only we didnt have school the following day. talking about it, i've a 2hour wrtoral test first thing in the morning, ending with a 1hour effcom at the end. just applying the touch-ups now..
